The IT Customer Experience & Operations (CE&O) Front Office team is responsible for the support of all customer-facing technologies used by the Consumers Energy Customer Website (CE.com), Customer Contact Centers, IT Service Desk, and the Customer Mobile App. We are a high performing team who support the Customer Experience and Technology organization and distinguish ourselves by providing a high level of internal customer service and consistently delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations.

We are looking for a system analyst to join our team who has a proficiency in SAP ECC and CRM CIC 7.0. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, possess in-depth functional knowledge and have strong leadership potential. The candidate will be expected to provide a proficient level of understanding of the SAP CRM Customer Interaction Center specifically related to Move In/Move Out processes, Contract & Order Management processes, Customer Factsheets, Service Location Environments, Technical Data Environments, Interaction Records, Installation Plans, Account Balance, Device Details, Remote Disconnect/Reconnect and Payment Details. It would also be preferred (but not mandatory) that the candidate have experience with Tibco ESB, API Services, SAP PI/PO, BRF+, SAP Scripting and SAP Integration with various third-party systems like OKTA, Equifax, Kubra and Paymentus.

This role will have accountability for SAP CRM configuration and design changes for both SAP and non-SAP projects and enhancements for the CE&O area. This position requires analytical skills to research, study, design, implement, and support complex, large sized efforts. It also requires the ability to evaluate current or emerging technologies to consider factors such as cost, portability, compatibility, or usability for new enhancements and projects.

The candidate primarily functions as a team member, but may also lead smaller, coordinated, group efforts.
Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree preferably in an Information Technology field. Less than a bachelor’s degree may be acceptable if accompanied by other technical training and extensive experience internal/external) in positions that demonstrate required abilities and performance
  • 6+ years of exempt working experience
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC and CRM CIC 7.0
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal error and guidance
  • Ability to design systems and assess the effectiveness of technology resources already in use or new systems that are being implemented.
  • Support the Testing Center of Excellence in requirement interpretation, test case development, data mining, specification interpretation and test case definition, ensuring test cases align to approved requirements
  • Ensure that information security policies, principles, and practices are an integral element of the system design
  • Provide systems expertise to system users, business partners, and other internal/external customers including trouble shooting issues, as well as, identifying and correcting inefficiencies
  • Demonstrated customer focus – evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships and creates processes with customer viewpoint
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks and delays to the project
  • Coordinates user acceptance testing and the resolution of problems identified
  • Ability to solve complex problems, taking new perspectives using existing solutions
  • Knowledge of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Understanding of Agile Scrum methodology

Hours and Travel
  • Meet travel requirements of the position. Work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.
  • This position may require onsite presence from time to time.
