RV Dealership Porter/Forklift Operator
Lloyd Bridges Traveland is Michigan's oldest and best family-owned RV dealership. We're looking to expand our service team by adding a porter/forklift operator to our service crew. Experience in operating a hi-lo/forklift or other heavy equipment is extremely helpful. Experience with RVs, camping, or hitch work is a huge plus.
Candidates must be comfortable moving RVs around efficiently and safely.
This position is full time and could lead to other opportunities, such as certified RV technician. We love to promote within.
Essential duties are:
-Moving RV units around lot, and moving them in and out of buildings for technicians and others
-Keeping RV units attractively arranged on lot for customers
-Assisting mechanics in service work by staging parts, installing batteries, and filling propane
-Filling propane for customers that purchase it in our parts store
-Doing general errands to and from parts facilities, sublet shops, customers, and off-site shows
-Occasional weekend or evening hours may be required
Qualifications are:
-Reliable attendance and transportation to and from work.
-Valid Michigan driver's license.
-Ability and willingness to adhere to safety procedures
