Perform routine viral analytical work in support of clinical programs such as viral titrations.
Provide support in the preparation and testing of biologic specimens such as serum, tissues, nasal swabs, and fecal material.
Run basic analytical instruments such as plate readers, microplate washers, automated workstations etc. Perform analytical techniques upon biological specimens such as qPCR, ELISAs, virus isolations etc.
Analyze and interpret experimental data independently
Contribute to writing of e.g. SOPs, study reports and protocols.
Write up laboratory notebooks regularly in compliance with guidelines.
Take care of general housekeeping activities such as cleaning bench spaces, processing equipment and glassware.
Order, maintain and stock lab supplies such as common reagents, primary packaging materials, gloves, cleaning agents, safety glasses etc.
Perform monoclonal antibody glycoform analytical technique using the LabChip.
Determine protein levels (host cell protein, protein A) in monoclonal antibody samples.
Test serological samples using the DELFIA immunoassay.
Analyze and interpret experimental data independently.
Apply lean 5S methods to laboratory operations.
Function as an additional operator during assay transfers.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
At least one year technical laboratory experience
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
