Fast growing dental company seeks FULL time (4 days/week) Dental Assistants for our busy family practice in Kalamazoo, MI.
Must be very professional, flexible, well organized, high energy, have a positive attitude and be a team player. Experience or Dental Assisting Schooling required.
Responsibilities: Our Dental Assistants sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment, prepare the instruments and materials required to treat each patient, and obtain patients' dental records. Assistants provide aid by working alongside the dentist during all aspects of General Dentistry. They hand instruments and materials to the provider while maintaining isolation.
Key components of a Dental Assistant's job is to educate patients on pre and postoperative care. Provide oral healthcare instructions. Prepare materials for impressions and restorations, expose radiographs, convey and confirm treatment plans with all patients.
