DescriptionJoin National Dentex - a leading healthcare organization specializing in the dental industry. We offer a full spectrum of specialized products, services, and technologies to address any dental restoration need. Currently, we have 30+ labs throughout the country. Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX Dental Art in Lansing, MI for a Part-Time Custodian. The regular hours for this position are from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
General facility maintenance.
Maintenance of production equipment for the laboratory.
Clean work area daily.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills and Abilities Required:
Working knowledge of equipment, materials and supplies used in building maintenance.
Knowledge in the proper and safe techniques of building maintenance.
Ability to work independently and to complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Ability to understand and follow written/verbal instructions.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Professional and neat in appearance.
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
Minimum Education and Experience Required:
Valid driver’s license and able to maintain an acceptable driving record.
Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum of twelve (12) months of service.
Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
Equipment/tools and chemicals utilized in the laboratory for production or maintenance.
Additional materials or equipment, as required.
Personal protective equipment, as required.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel and/or reach.
Fine motor skills and ability to perform repetitive motions.
Vision capabilities, including depth perception, attention to detail, and color.
