Experience with ExpressRoute
Experience with third-party products in Azure
Demonstrated experience in installation, administration, support and management of any active Windows server environment that includes services such as Active Directory, application, file and print servers
Experience with Linux Apache Web Server Administration, preferred
Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure AD, Umbraco, SQL Server, virtualization, and IIS
Experience using DevOps/Infrastructure as Code tools such as ADO, Jenkins, Puppet, and Salt
Understanding of cloud-native technologies such as AKS or Kubernetes
Day to Day Role:
Evaluate, implement, analyze, and maintain changes to business productivity and web solutions such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Project Server, Linux, Salesforce, and/or other SaaS products
Lead projects from a technical perspective
Act as a point of escalation for service ticket and problem resolution
Keep abreast of new technology developments and make recommendations regarding changes to current standards and solutions as appropriate
Administer, monitor, and manage web servers and other web-related on-premises and cloud systems
Work closely with members of the web development team to ensure the success of the team's duties and responsibilities
Support infrastructure and administration needs of other CMS tools, such as Umbraco
Investigate and implement new features and solutions with Microsoft 365 and Azure
Core Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in computer science, web development, information systems or related field of study and two (2) years of IT experience, OR
Associate's degree with an emphasis in computer science, web development, information systems or related field of study and six (6) years of IT experience, OR
High school diploma or equivalent and twelve (12) years of IT experience
Three (3) years of experience in Web Server administration
Two (2) years of experience in administration of Microsoft 365 tenants
Two (2) years of experience in administration of Azure tenants
Two (2) years of experience with creating and managing shell scripts (PowerShell, bash, etc)
Experience implementing Azure solutions and services from scratch, including building high availability solutions across regions
Experience managing Azure Identity solutions and migration identity and authentication solutions from on-premises to Azure
Knowledge of and experience with Azure IaaS and PaaS services, including VM infrastructure, networking, and security
Knowledge and demonstrated expertise on deploying Azure resources via Powershell
Technical experience in a Windows-based operating systems and support role
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
Excellent customer service skills and the demonstrated ability to effectively and professionally navigate novel and tense situations in a customer service environment
