Work Location: Lansing, MI( Remote or On-site? Local candidates or willing to relocate at own expense. Candidates must be located in MI for 2 day a week hybrid schedule.)
Duration: 6 Months( with possible extension)
Database skills as outlined below:
Installation of database software SQL server version 2012,2014,2017,2019 and any other later versions.
Creating databases with/without "always on" options
Installing patches and service packs
Performance tuning
Performance problem resolution
Implementing security standards
Monitoring the databases for optimum performance
Upgrading the databases
Making backups and recoveries as needed with zero data loss
Using DBA tools like SQL trace, SQL Studio
Make recommendations as to using Windows authentication vs SQL server authentication
Skills experience as outlined below:
5+ years experience in installation of database
5+ years experience in creating databases
5+ years experience in Installing patches and service packs
5+ years experience in Performance tuning
5+ years experience in Performance problem resolution
5+ years experience in Implementing security standards
5+ years experience in Monitoring the databases for optimum performance
5+ years experience in Upgrading the databases
5+ years experience in making backups and recoveries as needed with zero data loss
5+ years experience in using DBA tools like SQL trace, SQL Studio
