Here at Hope Network were looking for Direct Support Professionals/Rehabilitation assistants (more commonly called Direct Care Workers/Home Health Aides).
We are a nonprofit organization based in Michigan with programs in over 300 facilities in about 12 counties. Most of our programs are more of a group home setting with 4-8 beds. We provide services for those who have:
Mental illness -Developmental disabilities - Neurological disorders-Autism Centers
Our direct care workers do a wide variety of tasks such as meal preparation, routine household care, med passing, transporting to and from doctors appointments (in hour Hope Network vehicles), social skills as well as leisure activities such as community outings/activities.
In regards to personal hygiene/peri care. We have many consumers who take care of their own hygiene/peri care and only need reminders or redirection. On the other hand we also have consumers who do need assistance in terms of personal hygiene/peri care/showering. We do our best to assist both our high and low functioning population.
Wage: $10.50
Drivers License Required
Shifts available- 1st (mornings) 2nd (afternoon) 3rd (midnights)
Paid training- Required paid training (CMH)
