General Responsibility: Painting all parts of fiberglass (helms, molds, etc). Checking for quality assurance in order to meet company specifications and standards.
Essential Functions:
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Painting the fiberglass molds and parts
Spray surfaces of manufactured product with protective material using spray gun
Operating equipment / spray guns to apply the correct thickness of gel coat on custom molds
Painting all parts to engineering specifications and patches parts after coating
Assists in control of materials used
Assists with maintaining and testing gel coating equipment
Ability to pass respirator fit test
Ability to read and understand prints
Ability to read and understand and adhere to Production Schedule
Ability to work in dusty environment
Ability to work in a hot environment
Knowledge of hazardous chemical handling and disposal
Basic Hand / Shop Tool Ability
Read a tape measure
