Welder & Fabricator - openings in Lansing and Mason
Requires 1 year of on the job welding or an Associate’s degree in welding from accredited school and at least 6 months of experience.
Most welds will be mainly horizontal and a few down passes.
Use a 035 wire
Need to know how to set up own welders and know how to control the heat and speed of the wire.
Must have own welding helmet, gloves and basic tools
Free hand welding - Mig welding
Use of flame-cutting equipment
May weld together metal components and parts
Use of saws to cut or trim metal to dimensions, as specified by layout and work orders
Use of crane when moving parts over 100lbs
Lansing hours are 8:00am -4:30pm
Mason hours are 7:30am-4:00pm
$15 - $17 per hour to start.
