Big Bear Adventures is a River Adventure Outfitter and Family Fun Center. For over 30 years, we have been offering exciting Canoe, Kayak, Raft and Tube Trips on the Sturgeon River (the fastest and most challenging river in Michigans Lower Peninsula!) We also have a beautiful 18-Hole Adventure Golf Course, Ropes Challenge Course, Bumper Boats, and a General Store. Our goal is to enrich lives by helping guests to connect with family and friends while providing memorable outdoor experiences. We are now seeking applicants for the following SEASONAL positions to work towards this goal with us.
Front Desk / Customer Service (must be at least 15 yrs old)
Help assist guests, answer phones, process transactions on the cash register, display and stock store, help run Bumper Boats, Ropes Course, and more.
Shuttle Drivers / Equipment Handlers (must be at least 16 yrs old)
Load, unload, and maintain equipment (canoes, kayaks, rafts, tubes, lifejackets, paddles, etc)
Safely transport guests and the proper equipment to the desired drop-off points along the river
Help assist guests, help run Bumper Boats and Ropes Course, do some light maintenance and yard work tasks, and more.

Must love people and the outdoors!
Have great communication skills, a positive attitude, and be a TEAM PLAYER
Adapt quickly in a fun and fast-paced environment
Be available most weekends as that is when we are most busy. We have full and part-time positions.
As these are seasonal positions (although there are a few that can become year-round), these positions are perfect for high school and college students, teachers, and retirees. College students who work 14 weeks full time have the opportunity to make approximately $6,000 - $7,000 for the summer!
