Cornerstone Staffing Solutions is now hiring a Design Engineer! As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for the designing components, maintaining relevant documentation for internal and customer based needs, cost considerations, safety of designs, and solid understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes.
Primary Responsibilities
Ability to maintain and work in a safe/courteous manner.
Document creation related to manufacturing designs.
Ability to provide support to internal team and customer as it pertains to engineering/technical issues.
Have competency to provide quotes, ability to create drawings and bill of materials, reverse engineering,
development of standard products, and change process.
Actively work with and provide support to the Process Coordinator.
Required Knowledge and Skills
Four year degree in Mechanical Engineering or 2-years of mechanical design in engineering department.
Ability to create drawing with computer aided drafting programs, for example, Inventor or SolidWorks.
Solid working knowledge MS Office products.
Superior customer services with proven track record in technical support and sales.
Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
Exceptional project management skills.
