Action Water Sports is looking to fill the position of Boat Service Technician at our Traverse City location. Our Traverse City location services the Northern Michigan boating community and carry premier brands such as MasterCraft Boats, Barletta Pontoons, and Cobalt Boats. This is your chance to live out your water sports and boating passion every day!
Must have experience mechanical and electrical experience.
Tasks Include:
– Repairing and replacing parts
– Examine boats to determine the extent of damage or malfunctions
– Review work orders and discuss work with service writers
– Disassemble units and inspect parts for wear, using a computer
– Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer’s performance specifications
– Follow checklists to ensure all important parts are examined
– Attend training when needed
– Assist in other areas when needed
Communicating with customers and service personnel to identify and procure parts needed. Additionally, responsibilities include assisting with inventory management and parts sales for the multiple brands we represent.
