Job Title: Vehicle Test Engineer

Location: Novi, MI

Duration: 6-12 Months contract

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of Automotive Testing experience
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience with test documentation, bug management
• Experience in DVP&R (Design Verification Plan and Report) process (planning, testing and reporting to verify an automotive part or component)
• Experience with thermal system, HVAC
• Develop DVP&R for multiple vehicle system attributes
• Manage administrative verification and validation work streams; define scope, planning, timing, forecasting, and risk mitigation through work management tools and weekly status report out
• Translate attribute requirements into actionable test plans; generate test cycles and define corresponding test infrastructure including the instrumentation and data acquisition strategy
• Execute attribute testing, which includes functional and reliability testing at a component, system, and vehicle level
• Ensure data integrity, scrutinizing (both real time and post-test) results based on core engineering principles and intuition
• Prepare comprehensive test documentation; test plans, theory, test procedures, and results reporting with detailed analysis (no boilerplate templates).
• Vehicle cleaning systems development and testing
• Automotive thermal systems development and testing
• Automotive HVAC development and testing
• Automotive electronics thermal management
• Passion for robotics and self-driving vehicles.
• Motivated, flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment with tight timing constraints.
• Proven problem solving and communication skills, excellent numeracy and spatial awareness.
