#1359 Project Manager Job Description POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Manager is responsible for planning and managing short- and long-term project delivery. From initial task planning, risk management and communication planning, the Project Manager owns the work. By partnering with Sales, Account and Production business units, the Project Manager actively manages scope creep to ensure high quality, timely delivery. The Project Manager’s diligent tracking of project plans and resources protects the investment made by both the client and the company.
JOB RESPONSBILITIES
Create and actively manage project plans and drive delivery to milestones and requirements
Develop resource plans with Resource Management and ensure appropriate resources are in place and tracked throughout each project
Create communication plans for each project to ensure tight team communication throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with cross-functional and cross-team dependencies
Consistently employs, shares and improves project management processes, standards, templates and best practices
Manage issues and risks, create mitigation plans and escalate to appropriate stakeholders as necessary
Oversee project delivery process with key contributors to help manage scope and prepare change orders
Provide regular project status to key stakeholders including clients, agency partners and senior leadership
Responsible for facilitating reviews and user acceptance testing, capturing and publishing meeting notes
Proactive project management and communication
Keep all production-related information up to date and available to teams
Able to work with global resources and teams, keeping alignment daily
Able to manage several projects of medium complexity simultaneously
Work under guided supervision; proactively escalates issues
Other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
A minimum of five years previous experience as a Project Manager on projects of moderate complexity, preferably in automotive, CGI and/or digital assets, configurators or product visualizers a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools is required
Proficiency in a software tools used in Project Management like: Shotgun, Projector, JIRA, Confluence
Experience working with multi-department teams (creative and technical resources) through project deliveries
This role may require work performed outside normal business hours to include nights and weekends
Creative agency, digital marketing or automotive marketing experience a plus
PMP certification (current or lapsed) preferred
