Job Role: Data Engineer Location : Troy, MI Duration: 6 Months Contract Must Have Skillset: SQL Skills: Must have hands on experience for a minimum of 3 years on RDBMS (MS SQL, Oracle, MySQL etc.,) and NOSQL Databases (CASANDRA, MongoDB, GraphQL Etc.,) Data Warehousing: Candidate must have the skills to work on aggregating unstructured data collected from multiple sources Data Architecture: Candidate must have the required knowledge to build complex database systems for businesses. Coding: Candidate must have the experience to link database and work with all types of applications - web, moblle, desktop, IoT. The candidate must have hands-on experience on Python and R. Must have real time experience in working on Google Cloud Platform. Knowing Hadoop and Spark would be a bonus. Need to be well versed with Windows, Unix, Linux etc., Nice to Have Skillset: Working knowledge on Hadoop and Spark. Working knowledge on statistical analysis and data modelling Soft Skills Needed: Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment Must be able to prioritize tasks Excellent Analytical and Problem-Solving skills Strong sense of personal accountability for results
