DescriptionThe Medicaid Business Intelligence and Analytics Intern sits within the Medicaid Business Intelligence department with a focus on clinical operations.The Medicaid Business Intelligence and Analytics Intern performs duties related to data optimization, reporting, work flow optimization, strategy, and compliance and risk reporting.Successful candidates will gain experience in data visualization, data modeling, report consumption, process optimization, and risk identification.ResponsibilitiesThe Medicaid Business Intelligence organization has 5 teams: Reporting team, Data optimization team, Compliance and Process Governance team, Workflow Technology team, and Strategy team. The Medicaid Business Intelligence and Analytics Intern focuses on clinical operations and performs duties related to data optimization, reporting, work flow optimization, strategy, and compliance and risk reporting. The Medicaid Business Intelligence and Analytics Intern acts as a valued team member while completing formal education or immediately following graduation.The intern will learn to apply data driven approaches to collect and analyze data and information to be able to interpret what opportunities are presented within the data (e.g., what the data is saying or is not saying). Also, the intern will need to be comfortable working with ambiguity, be a self-starter, and approach problems/opportunities with curiosity. The Medicaid Business Intelligence and Analytics Intern will gain experience in data visualization, data modeling, report consumption, process optimization, and risk identification.Required QualificationsCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree

Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Preferred QualificationsHave a strong academic history, with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA being desired

Must be enrolled s a Junior or senior

Be actively involved on-campus and/or in the community

Possess an interest in working in the healthcare and wellbeing industry
