Client Information Technology is looking for an experienced ETL developer to join our team. The ideal candidate would be comfortable working in a dynamic, highly collaborative environment with tight feedback loops. This person should feel passionately about building zero-defect software with a quality-first mindset and should be passionate about learning.
Applicant will work closely with a multitude of groups throughout the organization which will require the ability to communicate with associates with backgrounds ranging from DB development, Application Support, Networking, Operating System Administrators, Software Development Managers and Business Users from a wide range of operating units.
Qualifications:
Solid experience working with Data related environments, Web Services, XML data sources, API Calls, performance tuning ETL Jobs & Database queries, Oracle, SQL Server, PL/SQL (5+ years)
Advanced Oracle skills including PL/SQL, packages, procedures, indexing and query tuning (5+ years)
Ability to identify and reuse of ETL components and services to avoid duplicative implementations
Solid understanding of Data Warehouse design theory including dimensional data modeling
Experience in working with Jira or a similar Agile project management tools
Ability to thrive in change by having a fast, flexible, cooperative work style and ability to reprioritize quickly
BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
Excellent oral and written communication
Knowledge of or experience working in financial services and/or other regulated environments is a plus

responsibilities:
Understand, develop, and enhance all parts of the data pipeline: ingestion, processing, storage, and exposing data for consumption to multiple stakeholders.
Designs and executes highly complex data flow tasks that cover multiple business, technical, and/or application areas.
Provide Technical support during Development, Testing, and Deployment of projects
Provide on-call support of the nightly processing on need basis
Performs environment tuning and maintenance
Estimate workload and participate in an Agile project team approach
Collaborate with analysts, developers, system owners, quality assurance, business process owners, and data governance in the review and testing of new and changed data elements, structures, reports, and services to ensure final business solution acceptance
Provides the necessary documentation associated with the developed and maintained solutions to satisfy all company, IT and Data Governance policies, procedures, standards, practices, and guideline
