True Friends, a nonprofit organization providing life-changing experiences that enhance independence and self-esteem for children and adults with disabilities, is looking for a Lead Cook to work for the Food Service department.
Job Duties:
⢠Prepares meals according to menu
⢠Maintains inventory and makes decisions regarding appropriate substitutions in the event of shortages
⢠Performs opening and/or closing duties
⢠Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and dining areas
⢠Communicates food service updates and needs to Supervisor
Job Requirements:
⢠Must be able to pass an organizational background study
⢠Previous food service experience desirable
⢠knowledge of proper food handling procedures required
⢠Good organization and time management skills
⢠High school diploma preferred
⢠Hold or be willing to acquire MN Department of Health Food Managers License
