Hawkinson Construction is a northern Minnesota based asphalt paving company that services a 75 mile radius surrounding the Grand Rapids area. For more than half a century our family-owned business has dedicated itself to upholding the highest standard of workmanship in our industry.
We are seeking a Truck / Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the following primary duties:
Inspect, troubleshoot and diagnose issues with light and heavy duty trucks and paving equipment
Repair diesel and gas engines and equipment
Welding and cutting torch operation
Effective communication as well as absolute integrity and strict adherence to company policy
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school education or GED equivalent. Technical trade school education a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude or skills. Any experience a definite plus.
CDL not required but Hawkinson will help you acquire if desired.
