  • Description Position at Lifespark Community Description: Legacy of Delano, a Lifespark Senior Living Community, is looking for a Cook Position to join our growing team! Legacy of Delano is a fun filled Senior Living Facility, located right off of Highway 12 in Delano, near Coborn\'s. It has 51 total units, between both Assistant Living, Independent, and Memory Care Apartments. Delano is a growing community with compassionate team members, who help our residents AGE Magnetically, join our team today! Located at:Delano, MN 55328 Shifts Available:11 AM - 6:30 PM, Every other Weekend Rotation Wage:$17.00 - 20.25 hourly - Based on Experienced Are you compassionate towards others? Our Cook/Chef becomes family and impacts the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations.Duties include: Prepare and serve food and meals in accordance with planned menus, diet plans, recipes, portions, and temperature control procedures. Direct and assist in cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment and floors, dishes, and utensils. Check all trays for menu and diet requirements and preference and accuracy. Ensure proper storage for food and supplies. Review and process diet changes and ensure menus are maintained and followed in accordance with established procedures. Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience in a senior living setting is preferred. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident\'s families, and employees. Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use. Our LPN\'s and RN\'s become family and impact the lives of our residents who live in a Lifespark Senior Living Community. In this position, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of nursing care and services provided to residents and tenants under the direction of the Director of Health Services while maintaining quality care that is consistent with company and regulatory standards in accordance with individual care plans. Duties include: Schedule and perform rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care. Assume responsibility and accountability for the proper completion and documentation of care, medications, and treatments. Support the Director of Health Services on the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident/tenant population. Preferred Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and a valid state licensure as a LPN or RN Restorative or geriatric nursing experience is preferred. Must be able to relate professionally, positively, and cooperatively with residents, resident\'s families, and employees. Must possess advanced computer skills, including email use.
