DescriptionJob SummaryWe are seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to help lead our organization through continued growth. This individual will be responsible for external and internal reporting of financial reporting. This will include monthly variance analysis and financial benchmarking to peers. The selected candidate will lead a team of three. If you are looking for an opportunity where you can make an impact every single day, the search stops here!Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions Work closely with the Accounting team to prepare and analyze internal and external financial reports, including but not limited to, monthly management reporting for internal users, quarterly financial updates for the Board of Directors, external reporting requirements and special projects as assigned. Maintains and enhance effective internal controls over the financial reporting process Coordinate activities of external auditors and other financial specialists as needed Leads financial research efforts. Analyzes, researches, and concludes on new accounting, reporting and disclosure standards issued by the reporting bodies and prepares the related technical memorandums Facilitate the implementation and timely completion of month end financial analysis, budget to actual and trend review Communicate across the organization and build partnerships within the Accounting, Tax, Operations, Sales, Supply Chain, IT and Human Resources departments Needs to respect the confidentiality of information acquired in the course of Company work except when authorized or otherwise legally obligated to discloseQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required Minimum 7 years of experience, experience in external reporting preferred CPA required. Manufacturing industry experience preferred Strong technical accounting skills. Especially in areas such as Revenue Recognition.
