Job Description:Coordinate system-wide credentialing, privileging and payor enrollment for Essentia Health’s providers and/or facilities. Additional responsibility may include: coordinate and staff various committees (Credentials, Medical Executive Committee, Board, Medical Staff); provide guidance and support to physician and non-physician leadership; coordinate physician/credentialed provider expirables; represent department at state and Joint Commission surveys; coordinate revision of bylaws, rules and regulations and policies; research enrollment issues and claim denials; audit physician/credentialed provider/facility paperwork for accuracy; maintain database. Work Experience: Minimum of two years’ experience in an office setting, preferably healthcare. Experience researching issues, thinking critically, learning and following processes, coordinating projects, meeting multiple ongoing deadlines, and interpreting and understanding policies, bylaws, rules and regulations. Extensive knowledge and experience with Excel, Outlook Microsoft office products and software programs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
