Job LocationsUS-GA-DuluthPosition SummaryThe Windows System Administrator is responsible for overseeing the server and DaaS infrastructure. A successful candidate will manage the day to day operations of the server infrastructure and work with technical vendors as needed. This role will also be responsible for providing tier 3 support for the Helpdesk.Responsibilities

Manages the Windows server infrastructure which includes set ups, upgrades, and server hardening.

Monitors all system alerts and assists in the resolution of complex system hardware and software issues.

Analyzes system for failure and assists with the restoration of system files.

Supervises the efficient application of various window patches and security controls.

Installs Windows components and configuration of such as IIS, .NET and needed third party installations.

Collaborates with the IT Operations Manager on daily tasks and ongoing IT projects.

Installs and configures various commercial products on window server operating systems.

Assists with the ordering and maintenance of IT inventory.

Performs troubleshooting on all production problems and provides resolution.

Monitors IT tickets and provides appropriate resolution.

Helps support the helpdesk on any complex issues.

Performs other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired

Associate Degree in Computer Science, information Technology, or related field

Knowledge of All Windows Server operating systems

Knowledge in AWS and Azure setups or migrations

Knowledge of networking, computer hardware, server hardware and software troubleshooting

Ability to write and comprehend technical documents and user manuals

Exceptional verbal and written communication to effectively present information and answer technical questions to all levels within the organization

Computer literacy to include Data Entry, Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook

Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, Server Management, Group Policies, and IDS and IPS

Knowledge of IT ticketing system

Preferred

Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
