THE POSITION:
The position will be full-time with competitive pay and benefits. Hours would be Monday-Friday from 8:00AM to 4:30PM. Only serious applicants are asked to apply.
JOB DUTIES: Our metal specialist will assist with day-to-day standard shop operations including: sheet/plate burning, material loading, metal sales, order processing, and walk-in customer assistance. Looking for someone with a mechanical aptitude that is willing to learn our two burn tables. Disclaimer: They do run on older technology.
50% of your time would be spent using our CNC/plasma tables to create custom parts. The remaining 50% of your time would be assisting with daily warehouse operations, including order processing and customer service. Extensive training will be offered for both job functions. As we are a small business, you will learn most of the job functions within the company and your days will fly by!
OTHER PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
Prior CNC/Vector knowledge preferred
Prior knowledge of steel, aluminum and stainless. If you have limited prior knowledge, that’s ok, we will help you learn.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Prior customer service experience
