Working on maintenance, repair and restoration projects involving railroad cars, engines and related railroad equipment. Job requires "handyman" skills including: Painting, surface preparation, finishing work, light carpentry, minor plumbing and cleaning.
Requirements:
Strong communication skills, able to take a set of instructions and perform a task without prompting. Ability to work on your own indoors and outside as wx permits.
Must be able to stoop, bend, stand, be on knees, climb, rotate wrists, etc.
Must be able to lift heavy objects (50lbs.+)including equipment and machinery.
Must be reliable and able to work Mon-Fri schedule.
Must have valid drivers license and ability to operate forklift, ATV, and Pick-up truck. Forklift and ATV training provided.
