Just Take Action, inc. is a fast moving, award-winning, multi-unit restaurant and brewery group, in Duluth, Minnesota. We are looking for Marketing Manager to add to our growing team.
The Marketing Manager is responsible for:
Overall Strategy
Develop engaging storytelling and creative assets across the marketing mix including digital, media, packaging, etc.
Oversee all marketing related activity, including overall brand positioning, messaging, and engagement.
Establish the strategic marketing plan for all product development and promotional campaigns to increase awareness, create brand loyalty and generate sales.
Support and interface with printing companies and designers to produce creative elements such as new packaging, point-of-sale materials, signage, print and online advertising, brochures, clothing, brewery souvenirs, and other marketing support materials.
Create and maintain strategic partnerships throughout our local community.
Develop relationships with local media and be comfortable preparing and writing articles and press releases.
Creation and management of a marketing budget.
Critical Responsibilities Include:
Events
Responsible for creative idea generation and planning of organized events at all of our locations that appropriately reflect the Just Take Action, inc. brand and personality
Primary promoter of location events with focus on engaging our fans and community as well as targeting potential future customers.
Branding
o Maintain branding standard while being creative with 7 different brands.
Graphics/Print:
o Ability to create graphics for advertising and promotional purposes using Adobe creative suite.
o Ability to print and finish materials in our in-house print shop
Public Relations:
o Ability to speak comfortably and confidently for press events
o Ability to write press releases for company events and announcements.
Promotions/ Advertising:
o Responsible for creative, innovative, and effective promotions to gain new business and boost specific products.
o Maintain appropriate presence and marketing mix with external advertising.
Websites/ digital presence:
o Keep all websites up to date with current information, including tap list.
o Keep all digital platforms current for all brands.
Social Media:
o Maintain and keep all social media accounts active with relvant, yet fun information while maintaining branding standards.
Communications:
o Be the first line of contact for communications.
o Filter emails to the appropriate party
o In charge of creating new internal company emails
o Send out weekly eblasts for promotional purposes.

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in relevant field
A minimum of 2+ years working experience in a marketing role, preferably in the beverage industry, including two or more years with brand strategy experience.
Passion for craft beer and the ever-changing beer market and marketing strategies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work evenings and weekends when needed for events.
The desire to learn and work in a fast-paced, growing company
Ability to think outside the box and propose new ideas
Proficiency in Google Drive
Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and Word Press a plus
Job Type: Full Time
Compensation based on experience. Benefits include health, dental, PTO.
