Dingwells North America is currently taking applications for a Shop Supervisor for our Superior, WI manufacturing facility. Qualified candidate must have the leadership skills to give the direction, training, mentoring and coaching required to oversee a manufacturing facility that consists of both machining and fabrication. If you have experience as a Supervisor and are familiar with manufacturing, wed like to meet with you.
Responsibilities:
Completes production plan thru scheduling and assigning personnel.
Provides manufacturing information by compiling, sorting, and analyzing. production performance records and data.
Creates and revises systems for continuous improvement and implement change.
Maintains safe and clean work environment.
Resolves personnel problems.
Serve as a link between shop personnel and office personnel.
Ensures safe operation of equipment thru a preventative maintenance plan and making repairs as needed.
Manage Special Projects as needed to ensure timely completion and satisfactory results.
Work with our Thunder Bay facility as needed to coordinate parts, projects, and deliveries.
Required Skills:
Proven work experience as a Shop Supervisor in the manufacturing field.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
Project management skills.
Ability to read blueprints and engineering fabrication drawings.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of ERP systems.
Background in both machining and fabrication.3
