- Experience of 10+ years with strong testing skills. Able to develop test strategy, design test plan, and test cases effectively and independently.
- QA background with experience/responsible for full life-cycle testing activities (manual and automated) of applications based on defined requirements in identifying and writing/reviewing test plans, test cases and testing results. Perform thorough System, Integration, Regression, load, performance and End to End testing.
- Experience in Java 8 / J2EE, strong in Java Concurrency, IO and Collection, database query, HTTP & REST API design/SOAP Web Services
- Experience in different automation tools Selenium, Protractor, JMeter etc.
- Good understanding of development processes and tools - Sonar, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD
- Expertise with JUnit, TestNG, or any other test framework. JUnit test cases and knowledge on DevOps toolchain, Continuous Testing/Automation
- Influence the team withlead by example and provide required coaching/mentoring for team members and setting engineering best practices and making sure team adherence of the same.
Preferred:
- Bachelor's / Advanced degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience
- Understanding of fundamental software engineering and computer science principles: object-oriented design, structured design, databases, algorithms, data structures, usability, debugging, and configuration management
- strong technical and platform knowledge, including some or all of: Java, J2EE, Open source related technologies - Perl/Any Scripting language, MySQL
- Experience in any observability frameworks such as Splunk/Graffana/Kibana etc.
- Experience in event streaming/message queuing with proficiency in RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ/Kafka etc.
- Experience in working any NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/Cassandra/Aerospike etc.
- Experience in container orchestration and proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes
- Understanding of Data Model and create Complex SQL queries to Identify and creating test data.
