You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide Analysis to Identify and Define System Capacity/Performance Requirements
  • Develop forecasting data to identify trends and capacity requirements, and communicate to appropriate audience
  • Provide appropriate recommendations based on forecasting results (e.g., perform tuning, request additional hardware, redistribute application loads)
  • Utilize appropriate tuning/monitoring/testing tool sets to optimize application/system performance (e.g., Load Runner, JMeter, BluJay, Jarvis, HP Performance Center et., )
  • Partner with business and IT teams to identify, address and resolve system performance issues/concerns and provide appropriate recommendations
  • Develop and Execute Application/System Performance scripts
  • Ensure that all application/system performance testing is repeatable and measurable
  • Generate Application/System Capacity/Performance Reports
  • Refresh/Modify data within Postgres DB as needed for all Performance runs
  • Generate tuning recommendations based on applicable criteria (e.g. testing reports, splunk, Dynatrace, etc.)
  • Generate ad hoc performance and utilization reporting, as needed
  • Provide appropriate recommendations based on reporting results
  • Escalate problems/issues appropriately to optimize business performance Skills

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with the following :
    • Database Performance and peformance Tuning - Distributed
    • Cloud/Azure
    • Jmeter
    • BluJay
    • Jarvis
    • Multiple database platforms
    • Monitoring tools (Dynatrace or similar)
    • HP LoadRunner
    • Github
    • Enterprise Performance Analysis and Tuning

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification in LoadRunner or JMeter
  • Automation experience to run create jobs and run through Jenkins

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $82,100 to $146,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $90,500 to $161,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
