Technical Project Manager

Description: Technical Project Manager: Candidates that apply for this position must be fluent in the technical project management discipline, an expert and coordinating teams across organizations, creating standard PM work products, defining work strategies, aligning resources and desired client outcomes, and overseeing planning, scheduling and execution of the work.
Responsibilities will include:
-Ensuring technology solutions are managed to support business strategies, often working with and reporting out to senior management.
-Directing the integration of technical aspects of all related projects
-Conducting analyses, needs assessments, and cost/benefit assessments and helping to broker other technology services.
-Release management.
Metrics monitoring, management and risk mitigation
TOP REQUIREMENTS: The candidate will have worked with a larger IT organization for over 5 years in the capacity of senior project manager, have project management experience and examples of proactive approaches, working on their own to manage complex project and analysis tasks, develop relationships and be a strong self-managed individual.
What experience will set candidates apart from one another?
Ability to give examples of working well within a matrixed team environment, able to talk to experience working with engineering and operations teams (with specific examples), medium to large project experience working on their own to manage plans, coordinate teams across organizations, develop relationships and be a strong self-managed individual.
LOCATION: Open to fully remote.

TEAM STRUCTURE: Matrixed capability/product engineering teams, operations staff and senior leadership.
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
a. How many rounds? At least 2, potentially 3
b. Video vs. phone? Video
c. How technical will the interviews be? 50% technical project management and business analysis , 25% requirements gathering and documentation, 25% managing relationships and experience reporting to leadership.

Applicants must be highly competent in role, with the ability to drive to results in a fast-paced environment. This includes solid experience leading complex projects, creating charters, defining work strategies, aligning these with resources and desired client outcomes, and overseeing planning and execution of the work.
