Project Coordinator III, Global Compliance ProgramsLocation:Fridley, Minnesota, United StatesRequisition #:210004PXPost Date:10 hours agoCareers that Change LivesThis position will provide project coordination support to the Global Compliance Team in the Medtronic Office of Ethics Compliance for Medtronics global compliance activities, including such areas as auditing monitoring, policies, conflict of interest, and mergers and acquisitions.This role is part of the Global Compliance Auditing Monitoring team within the Office of Ethics Compliance and will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Global Compliance Metrics and Insights team. Medtronic walks the walk, creating an inclusive culture where you can thrive.A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.Provide project support to the Global Compliance Auditing Monitoring teams as required, including project management, documentation, data analytics, and communication support for specific compliance initiatives.

Conducts research and gathers and compiles information as requested.

Applies knowledge of and experience in company processes to assist in the development, implementation and administration of projects and procedures, including presentations to and approvals by executive management; identifies and implements process improvements.

Create and maintain sitebuilder/web sites, rosters, manuals, access rights, presentations, status reports, conduct external web site searches, etc.

Provide project manager support leveraging tools such as Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, and Smartsheet. Follow-up to assure all action items are completed. Create dashboards and other reporting mechanisms to ensure team deliverables happen on-time and within budget.

Provides skilled project and technical support with minimal direction, which may include data coordination, data analysis, tracking and coding in systems such as Spotfire, PowerBI, and Qualtrics.

Provide system administration support for key systems such as Sharepoint, Smartsheet, TeamMate, and ServiceNow.

Compile and prepare reports and other materials needed to support the auditing and monitoring activities.

Provide project support to the Americas Compliance teams as required, including project management, documentation, and technology support.

Represent the department in a professional, efficient and effective manner in all communication and interactions:

Serve as a key contact point for Global Compliance Auditing Monitoring team in its interactions with various businesses and geographies, other Medtronic departments and external entities

Handle highly sensitive or confidential information

Provide appropriate information to contacts (handling questions, issues, follow-ups)

Apply knowledge of business and department objectives and priorities

Serve as an information resource on organizational practices, policies and procedures

Handles most issues and requests by executing an alternative on own initiative or recommending best alternative

Interacts professionally with upper management, functional staff, employees, peers, and outside partners on matters of significant importance on a frequent basis. Involves planning and preparation of the communications. Requires skill, tact, persuasion, confidentiality, judgment, and/or negotiation to accomplish objectives.

Manages additional project work and ad hoc reporting, as assigned.

Must Have: Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED and 4+ years of project coordinator or administrative experience

Nice to HaveProfessional etiquette (telephone, correspondence, email, and in person).

Ability to communicate with a variety of people at differing levels effectively.

Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Experience with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote).

Strong project management skills.

Excellent organizational skills required with ability to prioritize.

Ability to handle difficult situations with poise and professionalism.

Ability to work well under multiple instructions and directions with tight deadlines.

High level of energy and willingness to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.

Self-motivated, team player, strong work ethic.

Event/large group meeting planning experience desired.

Experience coordinating complex international travel planning.
