OverviewTemporary casual position, working 0-39 hours per pay period. Day/Evening shifts and every other weekend.The door greeter/screener is responsible for welcoming and screening all patients, visitors and vendors prior to entry into Fairview Range, distributing masks and assisting with other various needs.Responsibilities/Job DescriptionGreet patients, visitors and vendors, in a professional, friendly and caring manner as they enter Fairview Range.
Perform COVID symptom screening functions based on Minnesota Department of Health guidelines. Follow CDC guidelines to determine if an individual is clear to enter our facility.
Ensure individuals maintain appropriate social distancing of 6 feet as recommended by the CDC during the health screening process.
Assist with patient drop offs and picks up (including belongings, paperwork, transport)
Assist with maintaining cleanliness of our entrance points and work stations.
Maintain general knowledge of our hospital and clinic operations and schedules.
Perform other related duties as required. This list is not all-inclusive and any other task or job may be assigned in the future.
QualificationsRequired:Must be at least 18 years of age.
Previous customer service experience
Preferred:High school diploma or GED.
Previous customer service experience in a healthcare facility.
Special Skills:Pleasant personality with good interpersonal skills.
Excellent oral communications skills.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Strong team player and ability to work independently.
Good work ethic and maintains reliable and consistent attendance.
