Fun.com, a world leader in online sales of Halloween costumes, T-shirts and knick-knackery of varying degrees of geekitude, is looking for the perfect person to help out our customers with their orders from our partner sites, e.g. Amazon and eBay, as well as our main websites. Youll spend your day interacting with customers across a variety of channels, including webchats, phone calls and emails.
Essentially your job is to make people happy.
Can you turn somebodys frown upside down and take a disgruntled customer and properly gruntle them? Because thats how we like our customers: gruntled. If this sounds like you, we want you as part of the fun.com crew!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Answer consumer questions about our products, shipping, and websites
Take customer calls and answer live chat requests on our websites
Resolve consumer issues and respond to contacts
Communicate issues to manager or proper department
Help troubleshoot various product, shipment, or website problems
Help train temporary staffing during September and October
Plan for increased contacts during September and October
Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Skill Sets
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Typing speed of 30 wpm or better
The ability to efficiently navigate through a web-based computer environment
Preferred Skills
Call center experience
Experience training new employees
Wage - Depends on Qualifications
