Requirements:
⢠Previous experience in the distribution natural gas industry installing mains and services
⢠Able to work in changing weather conditions
⢠Flexibility to work varying schedules and stay late as needed
⢠Willing to travel overnights during the construction season
⢠Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time and maneuver in small areas
⢠Federal Med/Health Card
⢠Strong communication skills
*Preferred Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, but not required
Description:
⢠Use hand tools to dig around existing utilities to prevent damages
⢠Load and unload equipment and materials
⢠Keep worksite clean and organized
⢠Assist in excavating around underground utilities
⢠Maintain open communication with crew members
⢠Follow safe utility practices and written procedures
⢠Checks and maintains equipment to ensure efficient and safe working order
⢠Work in adherence to safe practices, procedures and work site or traffic laws
⢠Perform pre and post trip inspections daily
⢠Perform other duties as assigned
