CNC Maintenance Technician - 2 openings Waterville, MN:
Hourly $25 - $30/HR DOE Direct Hire
Overview;
Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining operational condition of a variety of equipment, including two 2500 ton forge presses and one 300 ton forge presses, CNC lathes, Mills, and Assembly equipment.
Requirements/Responsibilities.
â¢Responsibilities:
⢠Maintains safe and clean working environment
⢠Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirement on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, manufacturerâs instructions and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions
⢠Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation
⢠Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.
⢠Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts; using rules, calipers, micrometers and other measuring instruments.
⢠Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs and straightedges.
⢠Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventative maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
⢠Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment
⢠Maintains equipment, parts and supply inventories
⢠Conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
Basic Requirements:
⢠High school diploma or equivalent
⢠Mandatory pre-employment drug screen
Preferred Education and Experience:
⢠5+ years working in manufacturing setting
⢠Associates Degree or Technical Degree
Physical & Safety Requirements:
⢠Must be able to lift 70 lbs
⢠Ability to stand for 8 or more hours
⢠Exposed to hazards that require body protection (gloves, pants, steel toes, safety glasses, etc.)
⢠Follow all safety requirements
⢠Perform daily housekeeping activities to ensure a clean and safe work area
$25.00 - $30.00/hr starting wage. Day shift 6.00 - am - 4.30 pm Monday - Thursday.
