Volt Technical Resources is seeking a Lab Tech II for a well known manufacturer in their Maplewood Facility.

The person hired for the position of Laboratory Technician / Pilot Line Operator will support the Unified Strategic Testing Organization within the Automotive & Aerospace Solutions Division and will be responsible for completing laboratory tasks to support core lab activities such as product development.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operating pilot line equipment for sample making & preparation - loading raw materials and removing outputs.

• You will perform chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.
• Reporting test results in a detailed manner and communicating these results to requestors.

Operating test equipment, including electro-mechanical test frames, analytical test equipment, as well as more complex test systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of three (3) years laboratory, manufacturing, or testing environment experience

• Associates/Two Year Technical degree or higher from an accredited university\
• Experience working with testing equipment
• Ability to communicate regularly and effectively on test results and observations
