Volt Technical Resources is seeking a second and third shift Lab Tech for a well-known client in their Maplewood Facility.

Job involves aspects of technical service in support of chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) operations for high-tech electronics applications. Job duties include execution of standard operating procedures to polish glass and metal disks, execution of written test methods to operate test equipment. Experience preparing and testing abrasives or polishing media for industrial applications or experience with electronic materials helpful. Good written and oral communication skills are required.

Educational requirement- Requires Associates with 2 years work experience or Bachelors degree in chemistry, chemical engineering or materials science or related discipline, with entry level job skills .
Preferred experience- hands-on experience with data collection and analysis in science or engineering fields, ability to carry out prescribed tasks with minimum supervision.

You will performs chemical, biological, physical, and/or mechanical analyses and tests required for research, development, or quality control of processes and products.

• Assists with compiling, analyzing, interpreting, and documenting results.
• Ability to follow procedures and methods and to work well on a self-directed team is required. Good mechanical aptitude and skills as well as experience and specific training in inspection procedures and/or the product line are required.
