Volt Technical Resources is seeing a Technical Helpline Representative for a well-known manufacturer in their Maplewood Facility.

Responsibilities:

The main responsibility involves answering technical questions that come in through the Technical Helpline. This role will involve assisting employers and distributors to properly select, use, and maintain health and safety related products.
In addition, this position may assist in answering technical inquiries submitted through the website and other electronic avenues.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Hygiene or related discipline from an accredited University
• Master’s degree in one of the sciences or engineering from an accredited university
• Professional certification (CIH, CSP) in occupational health and safety (or related field)
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
• Desire to interact with customers over the phone
• Proficient in entering data to help maintain and utilize customer and knowledge management databases.
  
  Thorough Training program will be provided.
