Role: Quality Data Specialist

Location: 100% remote!

Organization: Fortune 500 - An innovative technology company, which manufactures industrial, safety and consumer products

Length: 3 month contract

Compensation: $33,000 - $35,000 range depending on experience, qualifications, certifications, etc.

Quality Data Specialist Job Description

About the Role:

• Product Ordering/receiving: 2 hours/week x 10 weeks = 20 hours

• Simple Product Testing: 4 hours/week x 10 weeks = 40 hours

• Most hours (80%+) will be working on a computer

Responsibilities of Quality Data Specialist:

• For claims migrated from QDS that need a new revision: Map the information from the old QDS format into the correct sections of the PLM Word template in the new revision.

• For simple objective claims that require straightforward substantiation, such as photos, videos, or basic measurements - complete the substantiation and update Claim document.

• For claims with new substantiation data generated by technicians/ engineers - upload information to the correct section of the claim document

• For claims that will be due soon for resubstantiation: compile list of products needed for testing and work with admin to get product ordered

• When ordered product is received: record relevant information for each product when it arrives (source - plant/ DC/ store, date obtained, lot id or date code)

• Claim consolidation - when there are multiple claims in PLM that use identical substantiation data today: consolidate into one claim, link the claim to multiple ClaimLists as needed, and identify existing redundant claims to be obsoleted.

• Work through old claims, starting with oldest based on release year (post-Mar2011), to identify claims with bad links or missing substantiation data

Requirements of Quality Data Specialist:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly with Word and Excel)

• Familiarity with Minitab (preferred)

• Excellent writing skills

• Previous experience with 3M systems (PLM/eNovia) preferred

• Ability to process large amounts of information and gather information from different sources
