The Nicollet Diner is seeking an experienced industry professional dedicated to quality, speed and efficiency that naturally leads by example. We are a small independent restaurant on the verge of opening another location and are looking for someone capable and qualified to oversee our security and facilities maintenance as well as lead our overnight shift operations.

POSITION SUMMARY/PURPOSE
Manages daily and ongoing operations, cost controls and compliance of the restaurant with a focus on all security operations and staff. Overseas all alcohol and safety training for all staff. Acts as a liaison between staff, ownership and other management.
PRIMARY & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
All Management
Lead by example and make vital decisions when needed to manage the daily operations
Follow all administrative, cash handling, security processes and procedures to prevent theft, protect the assets of the company and reduce any potential liabilities
Ensure all menu items maintain 100% availability
The execution of coaching and progressive discipline related to staff
Use travel paths to communicate and perform corrective actions to fix problems affecting operations.
Daily accountability including timekeeping, quality of work and validation of work documentation and other clerical responsibilities related to the operation of the restaurant.
Validation and follow up to ensure all accountability systems and process are in place and working correctly, all checklists are up to date and being used on a per shift basis.
Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, health and safety legislation and guidelines
Use daily checklists and other managerial controls like timekeeping and travel paths to ensure continuity and consistency in operations.
Ensures that all proper maintenance is preformed to keep all equipment 100% operational
Protect and keep employee and company proprietary information confidential
Perform other duties as assigned
Security & Facilities Manager
Ensure HVAC preventative maintenance completed quarterly and hoods semi-annually.
Ensures that all proper maintenance is preformed to keep all equipment 100% operational
Manage maintenance punch list and work with resources to complete maintenance items
Executes annual staff alcohol safety and awareness training
Manages security personnel and their schedules
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Experience: 1+ year of work experience demonstrating dependability.

WORKING CONDITIONS
Exposure to field hazards such as walking on uneven terrain in dirt, grass or on streets and sidewalks.
Work is performed in a variety of conditions.
Work a variety of schedules including normal duty and on-call duty. Schedule will include travel and/or overnight stays.
Will be required to work night shifts and overtime when needed
Ability to stoop, bend, stretch, climb; physically agile.
Ability to lift 50 lbs
