BLUE Painting is a residential painting company that provides interior and exterior painting services to customers in the Minneapolis/St Paul area.
Our process is designed around the customer’s experience; we aim to be the easiest option in our market. First, we meet our customers in person to discuss their job in detail and provide them with a free estimate. Then, once onboarded, our customer is matched with a BLUE qualified paint crew in their area, who specializes in their job type. We oversee the entire process from start to finish to ensure the highest quality is delivered.

As a Project Manager you are in charge of the customer's experience from job booking to job completion. On a weekly basis you will: call customers to schedule their jobs, hand jobs off to painters, interview new subcontractors, conduct QA site visits, track job expense data, handle job site issues, and be the main point of contact for customers.
Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of painting projects from planning, scheduling, quality, budgets, oversight of production team, and customer satisfaction
- Match the correct painters to the correct jobs
- Schedule painters to complete work within customer timelines
- Direct and coordinate work to ensure projects are on schedule, within budget, and executed flawlessly
- Ensure quality and customer satisfaction is at the highest level
- Build and maintain a high-performing roster of painters
- Act as the main point of contact for customers while projects are in-progress
- Ensure company's brand remains intact and that all customers get the brand experience.
- Follow up with completed jobs to get job feedback
- Ensure timely invoicing of projects; execute change orders and work orders
Project Manager Requirements:
- You hold yourself accountable for your work. Follow through is an important part of this role.
- You understand that projects sometimes happen on weekends and you are willing to do what is necessary to assure each project is successful.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong Customer Service skills
- Team player but also able to think for yourself to complete tasks
- Tech savvy with a willingness to learn new platforms and processes
- Detail oriented, staying organized, and process driven.
- Prior painting, interior design, or construction project management experience is a plus
- Ability to adapt to an evolving work environment
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
- You have a dependable vehicle you are willing to put miles on for work
