Description:This position is responsible for cleaning, washing, sterilizing, and caring for the various kinds of caging apparatus and equipment used for housing laboratory animals.Operate cage and bottle washers, autoclaves, and bedding dispensing/disposal equipment. Move/lift heavy equipment/animals.Order and store feed and supplies.Clean and sanitize equipment, rooms, and facilities.Any other duties as assigned by supervisor.Potential work with mice/rodents can take place with additional trainingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:high school diploma or associates degreeanimal handling experience (0-6 months)cage washing and sterilization experience (0-6 months) / cleaning experience1+ year in each job to show consistencyExperience Level:Entry LevelAbout Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
