Flexion is currently seeking an EDI Implementation Scecialist for out client in Minneapolis, MN. The EDI Implementation specialist works among a team of professionals responsible for developing standardized solutions for our client's customers. They will research, isolate, diagnose, resolve and follow-up on problems for customer change events. When necessary, they will also manage escalated events as appropriate.

Essential Responsibilities / Duties


  • Install, upgrade, test, and configure systems as part of completing implementation project.

  • Consult with clients to analyze and verify operational needs, and to understand clients' business objectives and goals.

  • Keep customer and other stakeholders informed of project progress.

  • Perform post-sale initial technical implementation of technology products.

  • Conduct tasks and assignments as directed

  • Work under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.

  • Track progress of Implementation project(s). Ensure deadlines are met and scheduling issues resolved




Minimum Requirements


  • Some post-secondary education and 2-3 years of relevant experience.

    • Specialist I - 1 - 2 years of relevant experience

    • Specialist II - 3+ years of relevant experience



  • Excellent communication skills

  • Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

  • Proven fundamental project coordination skills.

  • Ability to apply, test, and re-configure data rules to produce desired results

  • Experience working with MS Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and Internet browsers.




Preferred Experience


  • Familiarity with XML highly desired

  • Prior technical or project management experience a plus

  • General understanding or prior experience with e-commerce concepts or Web based EDI services a plus
