job detailsDo you have extensive experience working with medical devices? Are you looking for the opportunity to lead others? Randstad has partnered with a local medical device manufacturer that is looking for a skilled and reliable candidate to join their growing team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that requires a background check and drug test. Shift- 7am-3:30pm Pay- $24-25/hrsalary: $24 - $25 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities
Provide structured on-the-job training to new hires and cross-training to current employees.
Teach the knowledge and skills necessary for employees to effectively perform their jobs.
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational processes.
Key Duties
Train employees on documented policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions.
Follow detailed checklists to maintain consistency in training.
Monitor trainees' progress to confirm understanding of material and achievement of training objectives.
Provide feedback using effective communication methods.
Coordinate with Leads and Supervisors to schedule equipment for training purposes.
Consult the Training Supervisor if additional assistance is needed for a trainee.
Model company policies and employee expectations at all times.
Education
Degree: High School Diploma or GED (required).
Experience
5+ years of manufacturing experience.
In-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, processes, and work instructions.
Skills and Competencies
strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organized with effective time management abilities.
Proficient in documentation tools, including:
SAP
Propel
Microsoft Excel
Microsoft Word
Paper forms.
The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
manual lifting up to 45lbs
standing for 9 hours at one time
