Title: Scrum Master
Duration: 6 month contract / 6 month contract to hire
Onsite hybrid 2-3 days/week from west metro, MN
This Scrum Master works in close collaboration with other Scrum Masters to help foster an Agile mindset and is responsible for facilitating Agile processes and guidance within a scrum team and enabling teams to become self-managed and cross-functional.
A Scrum Master needs to collaborate with the scrum team as well as business owners to identify, resolve or escalate impediments. This person will enable the Scrum Team to improve its practices, within the Scrum framework.

Utilize appropriate tools, metrics and techniques to successfully support the team’s progress against delivering value each sprint 30%
Identify and remove any impediments so the scrum team can deliver against their commitments 20%
Help build and support scrum team relationships and partnerships with leadership/stakeholders/business. 20%
Guide team with Agile principles, while explaining the value behind them (explain the why, move towards scrum team empowerment, etc) 15%
Facilitate team organization and some ceremonies (e.g. planning, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives), until the team takes over. 15%

Years of Experience:
• 7+ years of experience as a scrum master on an application development team
• 7+ years of experience teaching others how to become Agile
• 7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master managing multiple teams simultaneously
• Able to work collaboratively with diverse teams as well as independently
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Self-starter with a willingness to learn
• Passion for working with and supporting teams
• Strong facilitation and presentation skills to communicate with product owners
• Strong knowledge of Agile values, principles, and practices
• Positive attitude and ability to inspire the team toward continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications
• Agile or SCRUM certification or equivalent training and experience
