Senior / Principal Systems Engineer, Twin Cities MN, Salary: $110,000 - $150,000
About the role:
Real Staffing is representing a leader in the medical devices industry to fill a Senior or Principal Systems Engineer position that is based in the Twin Cities. This candidate would be responsible for designing system. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams to define requirements along with meeting clients face-to-face.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify internal requirements and assist clients in developing user requirements.
Participate in risk mitigation and hazard analysis.
Conduct technical discussions within interdisciplinary project teams.
Documenting system level analysis including system modeling, algorithm development, simulations, and system architecture.
Be the primary technical contact for clients on projects.
Accountable for the technical project scope and effort.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline.
Five or more years of experience, preferable in the medical device field.
Experience with system designs compliant with IEC 60601, ISO/EN 14971, and IEC 62304 standards. Experience with requirements management tools is a plus.
Knowledge of FDA 510(k), PMA, and EU MDR processes is a plus.
