The Marketing Product DB Consultant Technical Business Analyst is responsible for accurately understanding the true business need and ensuring clear technical requirements are documented for the technical delivery team that is responsible for building the campaign in Unica Campaign/Interact to support a variety of marketing partners and initiatives. This position requires an understanding of consumer data and campaign technologies, and will use this knowledge when interacting, consulting and advising marketing partners. This position will work on both new development and maintenance of projects and capabilities. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Represent a development team the builds batch and real-time campaigns for a complex Marketing organization
  • Document, review, and influence complex campaign and database requirements
  • Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
  • Predict emerging customer needs and facilitates innovative solutions to meet them
  • Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
  • Participate in large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in business, technology, related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • 3+ years of consumer marketing experience
  • 3+ years of experience working with technical requirements as a business analyst
  • Basic proficiency in SQL/ Oracle
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence team members to meet project related goals and support on-going maintenance
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to understand complex business problems quickly
  • Ability to prioritize, coordinate, and manage multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, and able to work with ambiguity and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Power user experience with Unica software suite such as Campaign and Interact (or comparable application)
  • 3+ years of project management experience in the technology space with a proven track record of strong performance
  • 3+ years of Healthcare experience
  • Working knowledge of relational databases, database structures and design, systems design, data management, data warehouse
