Role: Technical Business System Analyst with API Design Location: Minneapolis MN Duration: Long Term.
Principal Responsibilities: Responsible for translating the business domain into several APIs by having a clear understanding of the business vision, develop API design specifications and align technical API design to business uses case, product goals, and system needs.
Responsible for detailed API design documents. Excellent communication and writing skills needed.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
6+ years of business system analyst experience
2+ years of microservices API designing experience creating Entity Models, API specifications, state diagrams, and/or ODATA restful web services.
Expertise in detailed data analysis and report generation and creating source data mapping documents.
Solid understanding of SOA Architecture, XML, JSON, and YAML
Expert level experience with project discovery and elicitation, use case documentation, systems requirements development, non-functional requirements development, Process Flow Diagrams, source data mapping (SDM), other analysis/design artifacts, implementation planning, and SIT & UAT Support.
Experience working with the following tools: MS Office, Clarity, MS Project Web App, MS Visio, GIT, Skype, and HP Quality Center.
Experience leading joint application design sessions including architecture and data modelling discussions across multiple data domains/applications.
Extensive hands-on experience in JIRA, SharePoint, MS Visio, GIT, and HP Quality Center.
Experience working on Agile(Scrum) teams.
Experience working closely with multiple cross-commit teams
