Job DescriptionThe Business Development Executive is responsible for the ongoing identification, development, and assessment of Industry Solutions business opportunities with key accounts, selected based on proactive market screening, targeting, and business analysis. They develop extensive executive and senior management relationships in client and partner organizations. This role will identify and develop the most attractive opportunities for potential engagement. Candidates will work collaboratively with other teams across IBM and with technology partners and outside consultants, as appropriate.The Executive is responsible for the ongoing qualification of these opportunities and recommend whether to engage, disqualify, or refer opportunities to other IBM groups. They own the opportunity until formal sales engagement and facilitate the transition to an engagement team, and remain involved during the engagement phase, as appropriate.Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Master's Degree

Proven experience in business development and c-level relationships in the telecommunications and media Industry

Experience in leading the development of cloud, network virtualization, network management offerings, including partnerships

Readiness to travel 50% travel annually

English: Fluent

Preferred Tech and Prof Experience

At least 10+ years experience in the Telecom Industry

At least 5 years experience in cloud, network transformation, and SaaS offerings

Experience in global alliances and partnerships
